Nanny/ Housekeeper required for a lovely family in Aughton, Ormskirk
This is a long-term position.
Two children (G4 and G6) who attend nursery and primary school
This post will require a mix of childcare, housekeeping and house management including childcare before breakfast club / nursery, drop offs and pick-ups from school / afterschool clubs and nursery, homework support, and help with bedtimes etc. Meal prep, cleaning, laundry, ironing, assistance with food shopping.
We are looking for an individual who is experienced, professional, and reliable, with a sense of fun, creativity, and some flexibility.
The children are happy, fun-loving, imaginative, intelligent, and independent. They love arts and crafts, baking, and reading.
The individual must be a driver and have their own car.
Childcare is the main priority in this role. Therefore, there is flexibility with the distribution of the hours associated with housekeeping/management aspects.
Housekeeping duties include but not limited to cleaning, ironing, laundry, errands, meal prep and helping to make sure the home runs smoothly
A split shift system will be used to balance hours around morning and evening childcare.
Monday to Thursday 30-35 hrs per week. £32,000 per year.
Monday – Thursday 7 am until school / nursery drop off.
Housekeeping hours are flexible and exact distribution throughout the week can be negotiated.
Afternoon / evening split shift would run from school/afterschool club and nursery pick up around 5pm (4pm on termtime Thursdays) until 7:30pm.
Due to the nature of the parents jobs the evening finish time may need to be extended until 8-9pm one night a week (this will be pre-agreed).
Applicants must be registered with the agency, have valid up to date DBS clearance and be Paediatric first aid trained.
