If you are looking to find or hire a housekeeper, we offer a range of housekeeping vacancies, Live In, Live Out, Full and Part Time, we work with you to find out what you are looking for so that the transition from interview to vacancy is as smooth as possible.
Once you have contacted the agency, we will arrange a meeting with you, during this time we will create your own personal profile. This will include your CV, references, certificates, relevant working visas if applicable, and any other relevant information. We then forward this information on to the families that we think are most suited to you.
At the Nanny Agency, we work with a vast range of families, including high-profile executives, and people in the public eye. Due to the high standard of jobs we expect to recruit only the finest Housekeepers available. We expect our Housekeepers to represent us in a professional manner at all times.
A Housekeeper is a person employed by a family to manage all household affairs in an organised, discreet and professional manner. So many families need the necessary domestic help that employing a housekeeper brings. Each job is tailor-made to each housekeeper. This role can be Live In or Live Out.
A Live In Housekeeper requires her own room and Bathroom where possible. Her room must be furnished and have a television. They will have all their meals provided by the family. If they have any special dietery requirements the family will be informed. A Live in Housekeeper usually works between ten and twelve hours per day, and depending on their age and experience would expect to earn between £450 and £650 net per week.
A Live Out Housekeeper usually works between nine to twelve hours a day. Depending on age and experience a Live Out Housekeeper can earn between £14 and £18 per hour, depending on the location of the role.
The Employer is responsible to pay the Housekeepers Tax and National Insurance.
When you reach the stage where the family want to meet you, we will support you with any help you need and offer our expertise with interview techniques and tips. Once you have successfully found your new Housekeeping job we will support you and the family with any help you may need. This could be help with your contract, salary or holiday entitlement. We are always at the end of a phone, never hesitate to contact us.
