Professional Nanny Housekeeper Required – Dutton, Cheshire
A warm, welcoming and professional family based in Dutton, Cheshire are seeking an exceptional Nanny Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing, reliable and experienced childcare professional who is looking to become an integral part of a lovely family.
The family have two children: a delightful baby aged 6 months and a happy, energetic boy aged 4 years. The role will involve a mixture of sole and shared care, working closely with the parents to provide outstanding support within the home.
Hours
- 2–3 days per week initially
- Hours approximately 9:00am – 4:00/5:00pm
- Flexibility on working days
- The role will increase over time, with the view to becoming a full-time position for the right candidate
Duties will include:
Nanny Duties
- Providing attentive and nurturing care for both children
- Supporting the baby’s development and milestones through age-appropriate activities
- Planning engaging, educational and creative activities
- School and nursery-related duties as required
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Maintaining children’s routines and ensuring their wellbeing at all times
- Organising outings, walks and activities
Housekeeping Duties
- General housekeeping to ensure the home remains organised and well-presented
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Tidying children’s bedrooms, play areas and family living spaces
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Running occasional household errands
- Assisting with family meal preparation where required
The family also have two small dogs, so applicants must be comfortable around pets.
Additional Requirements
- Occasional ad hoc babysitting
- Willingness to accompany the family on holidays would be highly advantageous
- Professional, discreet and proactive approach
