Full-Time Live-Out Nanny – Southport
£18 gross per hour | 40–45 hours per week | Immediate Start
The Northern Nanny Agency is delighted to be recruiting an experienced, professional Full-Time Live-Out Nanny for a lovely family in Southport.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a warm, energetic and highly reliable nanny who genuinely enjoys being hands-on with children and becoming an important part of a family’s routine.
Initially, the role will predominantly involve afternoon and evening childcare Monday to Friday, approximately 12.30pm–7/8pm, together with two Saturdays and approximately one Sunday per month.
As the role becomes more established, the family anticipates the hours evolving towards more daytime childcare, generally falling between approximately 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, while continuing to include weekend work as part of the rota.
The family is therefore looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with a flexible rota arrangement. The rota will be provided approximately one month in advance, giving the nanny plenty of notice while allowing some flexibility around the family’s changing requirements.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent previous professional nanny experience and be looking for a long-term position
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be a confident and capable driver with the children
- Be happy to travel with the family, including overseas travel, approximately 4–5 times per year
- Be comfortable working weekends as part of the rota
- Have genuine flexibility and not be looking solely for fixed Monday–Friday hours
- Be warm, caring, energetic and hands-on
- Enjoy organising activities, days out and play opportunities for the children
- Be proactive, adaptable and confident managing a busy family environment
- Be exceptionally reliable, trustworthy and committed
- Be looking to build a long-term relationship with the family
Hours: Approximately 40–45 hours per week
